The World's Worst Blogger

It's official. I may be the world's worst blogger. I see I haven't updated anything since the 25th of April. Pathetic. Maybe if Kaiden would give me a minute every now and again to try and get something done, I could update more. He's so selfish. Everything is me, me, me. Now, now, now.

But anyway, here's a quick update on everything that has gone on in the last month and a half:

Dan graduated from Southwest Minnesota State University on May 8th and we took a road trip to Marshall to watch the proceedings. Our first road trip as a new family. Quite a feat. It only took us an hour longer than usual. He'll have to learn early to learn how to ride we me.

The day after, we had Kaiden's baptism in Zumbrota. It was easier to travel to where the rest of the family was rather than make the family come to us. I guess. We had a great day for early May. Not too cool, sunny and pleasant. It was nice because it was the first time many family members got to meet Kaiden since we live too far away for anyone to travel. But I digress.

Memorial Day weekend we were graced with the presence of Bob, Emily, Landon, Ben and Katelyn who came out to visit for the weekend. We had a great time going to Old McDonald's Farm, Reptile Gardens, Bear Country, Mount Rushmore, Story Book Island and just having some relaxing time together.

That's been it for the fun events. Nothing else going on but to go to work, come home and work some more. Kaiden's been pretty good, he sleeps primarily through the night, only getting up once or twice usually. I don't know, maybe it's more but I sleep. There are some days I wish he would sleep more so I could actually do something. Geez, never thought I'd miss the jaundice days where he would sleep for hours on end. But it is what it is, otherwise he's been doing very well. He is beginning to smile and laugh more, so it has been exciting.
